Organizations and workspaces
Your company's DECA account is an organization. An organization is split into one or more workspaces, for example one per team, project or environment. Everything you build in AI Studio lives in a workspace, and you always work in one workspace at a time.
What belongs to a workspace
Each workspace has its own:
| Item | Where you see it |
|---|---|
| Flows, with their versions | Flows |
| Executions of those flows | Executions |
| Functions | Functions |
| Credentials | Credentials |
| Files and shared variables | Storage |
A flow works with what's in its own workspace: the lists of credentials, files and flows you pick from in a step only show items from that workspace. To use the same API key in two workspaces, create the credential in each.
Some things are counted for the whole organization rather than per workspace, such as the shared variable limits.
Members and access
Workspaces and their members aren't managed in AI Studio. Your organization's admins create workspaces and decide who can use each one in DECA's central account administration, and the same workspaces and members apply to every DECA app. AI Studio reads them from there, and nothing you do in AI Studio changes them.
If you need a new workspace, or access to one you can't open, ask an admin in your organization.
